CHG-MERIDIAN again awarded EcoVadis Platinum

The CHG-MERIDIAN Group has once again been awarded the Platinum Medal in the latest EcoVadis rating, placing it among the top 1% of companies assessed by EcoVadis. With a score of 92 points, CHG-MERIDIAN has achieved a new record high, improving its score by six points compared with the previous year.

Following its first Platinum recognition last year, CHG-MERIDIAN has once again demonstrated its strong sustainability performance at an international level. The latest result highlights the company’s continuous progress in sustainability management and further strengthens its position as a reliable partner for customers, investors and other stakeholders.

The significant increase in points is primarily driven by CHG-MERIDIAN’s new sustainability targets. These targets demonstrate the maturity of the company’s sustainability governance and make progress measurable. EcoVadis assesses not only individual measures, but in particular the systematic integration of sustainability into governance structures, policies, processes and target-setting systems. The strategy is based on four key pillars: environment, labour and human rights, business ethics, and sustainable procurement.

Sustainability targets driving continuous improvement

In the area of environmental sustainability, CHG-MERIDIAN has set ambitious climate targets: by 2034, Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions are to be reduced by 58.8%. In addition, the company has set targets for capital goods and downstream leased assets, as well as for maintaining a consistently high remarketing rate of more than 90% for IT leasing assets. Further targets include increasing the proportion of women in leadership positions, holding regular development discussions with employees, further expanding the integrated management system, and assessing suppliers.

“Receiving the EcoVadis Platinum Medal once again sends a strong signal: sustainability is firmly embedded in CHG-MERIDIAN’s strategy, processes and day-to-day operations. This new record score confirms our commitment to consistently pursuing measurable targets and taking responsibility across the entire value chain,” says Mathias Wagner, CEO of the CHG-MERIDIAN Group.
