CHG-MERIDIAN places a high value on continuing professional development and improvement. With this in mind, we conducted our first international survey of the CHG-MERIDIAN Group workforce in 2018. The objective was to get a feel for the mood, to canvas opinions, both positive and negative, and to identify potential for improvement. With the second international survey in 2020, we once again entered into a dialog with our employees in order to drive forward the development of our company on the basis of the survey’s findings, among other things. Many of our employees – the participation rate was very high at 81.5 percent – took the opportunity to get involved and have their say on eight topics. We were particularly delighted to learn that 99 percent of our employees enjoy working for us in 2020. To ensure that this remains the case, every employee is invited to take an active role in shaping our future tasks.

The CHG-MERIDIAN Global People Development department is a firm fixture in our development program and offers a wide range of specialist, social, methodological, and leadership skills training. As the point of contact for internal and external training, we cover a wide range of requirements with our internal team of coaches, and we also have partnerships with renowned experts. On the move together

Fulfilling its responsibility to society is part of CHG-MERIDIAN’s corporate culture, and the ‘One Step Further’ project provided clear evidence of this. For one week, employees ran, hiked, pedaled and paddled for a good cause, raising a remarkable €10,000 for UNICEF and the victims of the floods in Germany. ‘One Step Further’ is the first international project under CHG-MERIDIAN’s CARE initiative, which gives employees the opportunity to set up community projects that are then supported by the Company.
