CHG-MERIDIAN Expands in Southeast Europe: New Subsidiary in Romania

The CHG-MERIDIAN Group is continuing its international growth strategy in Southeast Europe by establishing a new wholly owned subsidiary in Romania. With the new location in Bucharest, the company is expanding its geographical footprint and can now provide direct on-site support to international customers in Romania.

In recent years, many large international companies from Europe and the United States have established significant production facilities or national subsidiaries in Romania. This creates substantial potential for CHG-MERIDIAN’s flexible technology usage models.

The new location enables targeted local support for multinational companies while further strengthening global connectivity. CHG customers will be supported by a local team working closely with colleagues from Industrial Solutions and Global Account Management who are familiar with the specific requirements of the market.

“Romania is one of the most important nearshoring locations in Europe and offers tremendous growth potential. With our expansion into Romania, we are strengthening our global presence and enhancing our ability to support customers in this important Southeast European market,” says Mathias Wagner, CEO of CHG-MERIDIAN. “We remain consistently focused on the needs of our international customers while closely monitoring developments in promising markets worldwide.”

The new subsidiary in Romania marks the latest chapter in the dynamic growth of the CHG-MERIDIAN Group. In recent years, the company has continuously expanded its international presence and established itself as a long-term global partner for specialized usage models in information and industrial technology.
